once upon a time there was a princess named kimberly who was the prettiest woman in the village .
many man wanted to be with her but she only had her eyes on one man and that was a man called kevin (the hero). kevin didn't love kimberly in fact he was involve with a girl from the village but no one knew about his feelings because kevin was part of the queens family and rich. the girl he was in love with was very poor but the kindest woman he ever met.
the princess tried her hardest to get kevins attention but kevin mind was some where else. how ever the king amir (princess father) wanted mosez (the false hero) to marries her daughter because he was very rich and he was also the son of a famous man.
when the princess found out that her dad wanted her to marry mosez she went straight to kevin and confessed about her feelings towards him.
kevin was not happy and didnt wanted to hurt the princess so he left home and hide some where in the village away from every one.
left the princess crying her eyes out. her father got angry and send people to find kevin and to kill him. the princess and mosez was left in the castle alone while every one was looking for kevin. princess was depress and she decided she wanted to die so she tried and kill her self. she stood by the window and looked down and closed her eyes and jumped. likely kevin was on his way back to the village because he decided to tell every body about the young girl in the village. therefor he sees kimberly and runs towards the window and grab her dress and pulls her back , he saves her life but because she screamed and her dress was ripped apart and was on the floor with kevin, mosez who saw everything and knew that kevin helped the princess lied to everybody and said that kevin was taking advantage of the princess but in the end amir the father finds out the truth and take mosez and prison him and kevin set free with his chosen wife and princess married the 2nd richest man in the village.
A Wiki was set up for the students of Digital Media Year 2 student of their experience of the Elephant & Castle area of South London; the home of London College of Communication (part of the University of the Arts).
The class decided to let the wiki be open to the public as well as all students rather than keep it closed just for the Digital Media students. The only two people who initially oposed this consisted of the two older mature students who had not been exposed to such internet sites as wikipedia as much as the younger generations (who tend to over use this site and rarely venture to view other sources of information). I think we also assumed that people would edit it with rubbish or rudeness when in fact nobody posted anything until the deadline for the assignment started looming! Plus it does depend on the internet search ratings for the wiki to surface for the general population to see it and then want to add to the wiki themselves – maybe it has been seen but as it was so bare people probably just clicked on?)
A Wiki is ‘collaborative community Website where anyone can contribute. Since then, programmers have created many wiki-inspired programs and wiki Websites. Most of these stay true to the goal of simplicity. Wikis can be used for a large variety of tasks, from personal note-taking to collaborating online, creating an internal knowledge base, assembling an online community, and managing a traditional website. The possibilities might make wikis seem like a daunting system, but commitment to simplicity makes wiki tools a breeze’.
The wiki was created usingdokuwiki which is free to use and licenced under the GNU Genera Public License.
Define truth, give a reference (Harvard please)
1. the quality of being true
2. the state or character of being true.
3. if you believe in a lie it become true
4. the fact about events, people, situation, history
5. an obvious or accepted fact
Truth is subjective and depends on the situation, it does not have a black and white answer! It also depends on the individuals/social upbringing, perhaps the type of person who automatically trust all are easily fooled and for others who not see this unconditional ‘honesty’ in others might already question such things (this blog post has been written by a Photographic Retoucher who was never that trusting of photographs in the first place (or any other medium for that matter) and tends to wonder if the photographs featured in Newspapers do actually reflect back the ’story’ being told.. most of the time the answer would be a resounding no!)
Give an example of how digital media can compromise your definition???
some say media lies and others say media never lies. but trying to find out who is right or wrong can take forever. i believe life needs to be this way. this way you would have to go that extra mile to find the truth your self. no relying on others.
do pictures lie? are they trying to give the wrong message out to the audience or the readers? these are the question many people talk about every single day around the world. The fact is; if we’re really searching for the truth, we must question everything we’ve been taught, and then change our thinking to wherever that leads us. For a wise person once said, ‘Our minds don’t control our beliefs, our beliefs control our minds.the thing is media its an entertainment that can be knowledgeable at the same time. a very good example would be the cartoons.
cartoon are digital and fake but they are there to knowledge the children and entertain them at the same time.

‘To say he is an artist is no more than the truth, but he is more than that: he is our greatest living cartoonist with a lifelong dedication to his craft … His work is truly international, yet absolutely grounded in the English comic tradition.’ Steve Bell
so its really up to us human to find the truth and decide our self what to believe
Produce 2 photographs which embody the ideas of Wabi Sabi.
A pinhole image
Teaism is a cult founded on the adoration of the beautiful among the sordid facts of everyday existence. It inculcates purity and harmony, the mystery of mutual charity, the romanticism of the social order. It is essentially a worship of the Imperfect, as it is a tender attempt to accomplish something possible in
this impossible thing we know as life.
Wabi Sabi is a term used for objects that are imperfect or shows signs of decay (signs of life?!), from a dried up leaf, rust on a car or a crumbling building; being able to see beauty in something that is old or worn; accepting the natural cycles of growth, decay, and death
Today’s society has a preference for shiny brand new things and anything with a little ‘character’. For example, the signs of age on the
human face belies a person’s characteristics, are seen as old and should be ignored or dismissed in some way. (Photographic retouchers are often told to remove wrinkles and lines from portraits but, I always leave some behind or lighten them just a little, otherwise I find that the person becomes unrecognisable).
An image which can be taken with any camera, but represents the ideas portrayed in this philosophy
Task 1:
How does the images taken by paparazzi photographers effect
1. The Audience?
it depend who the audience is.
if the audience is a celebrity or a well known person , it probably make the person ever look good or bad. so lets say the paparazzi take a picture of a famous man with a women shopping, that image will effect the famous man life because it will bring out the wrong idea to peoples head about this guy.
The Subject?
it depends on the editing or who the image was sell to. what magazine company and what kinda message does the company want the readers to get. a simple picture can describe many things but a picture can never describe the truth and the soul.
The Photographer?
the photographer got goals and aim each day for each job. one of each paparazzi photographers goal is to get a good detail picture of the subject they are looking for. so therefor if the picture is legal and perfectly detailed the image can give positive effect to the photographer.
